Some of you may or may not know that Awaken has developed a friendship with the original Michael Myers, actor Tony Moran, over the years. Tony has made special guest appearances twice (in 2017 and again in 2021) during our Halloween season, and our guests have had a great time getting to know him.
So, when we heard that Tony was an ordained minister and had performed wedding ceremonies in the past, we thought, “Why not offer this at Awaken?” Why not offer our guests who love horror, and are planning on getting married, something special and unique for their big day?

Choose or Die, April 15th
If you like the 80’s horror movies and video games, this Saw-esque horror movie is probably for you. After Kayla loses her job, she discovers an old school 80’s based horror computer game with a $125,000 top prize for the winner. When she begins to play, she discovers that her actions may have real world consequences that only get worse and worse. There’s even a special cameo from Robert Englund. What a title! Love it! Teenager Casey begins to vlog about the “World’s Fair Challenge” an MMO horror game. There’s a bit of buzz around this film and some strong critical reception. Plenty of surprise abound for this coming of age, found footage horror drama. Read more.
