Hello Awaken Fans,
Awaken’s 2020 Halloween Season is officially in the books. Despite a number of challenges this year, we were thrilled with the turnout, and
The Good:
Turnout was great.
Covid guidelines were able to be followed.
Guests were awesome! Almost everyone was in a great mood, was excited to visit Awaken and had a wonderful time.
Scares were fantastic
Reviews were overall very positive!
The Bad:
It was a short season. (Only 11 open days)
No celebrity guests were able to appear this year.
Covid guidelines presented new challenges (especially one Saturday where wait times were too long, but then corrections were made the rest of the way).
All in all, the Awaken 2020 season was great. We hope you were able to make it out to experience us, and we can’t wait to have you return next year. Hopefully, everything will be a little more “normal” for 2021.
The Latest:
Our Santa’s Looking a Little Depressed….
And, there’s a good reason; Jingle Hells 2020 is officially cancelled. Recently, Michigan decided to shut down restaurants and entertainment venues (like Awaken) once again. While, the latest shutdown is only through December 8th (Jingle Hells was scheduled for December 12th), let’s just say we don’t have a lot of confidence that this won’t be extended longer. We have pretty good memories, and spring and then summer and then fall wasn’t that long ago.
Basically, with a ton of uncertainty, we can’t begin the work necessary to create the Awaken Winter Wonderland that our guests have come to expect. So Santa and his devious elves will have to be shelved this year. No Krampus and no snow-filled horrors will be around to scare you. But, here’s hoping 2021 gets here soon!
Love Bites Scheduled for 2021!
Some better news. Awaken’s annual Valentine’s Day event “Love Bites” is officially scheduled for Saturday, February 13th. For One Night Only, we will open our doors for the perfect date night or non-date night event. So, please join us for a night of lost loves, tragic endings, and dark scary secrets!

So, she decides to hang out with her roommate for the long weekend, until her roommate ends up leaving with everyone else. Blood Rage, 1987
Todd and Terry are twin brothers. Terry killed someone at a drive-in, whoopsie!. Terry, being the murdering jerk he is, blames the murder on his twin, Todd. Todd, who was rendered speechless is unable to defend himself and gets committed to a mental hospital. All good for Terry, right? That is until Todd escapes on Thanksgiving and returns for revenge!
