Our Awaken fall haunt schedule is set. Don’t forget we’ve got Tony Moran, aka the original Michael Myers, returning to Awaken October 6th and 7th. But, now we’ve added a second featured celebrity guest for the weekend of October 13th-15th! Keep reading for details. It’s going to be an amazing season at Awaken!
Awaken’s Featured Celebrity Guest Doug Tait to Appear This Oct.13th-15th!
That’s right! Actor and director Douglas Tait who has played both Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers (and a ton of other great roles!) will appear @ Awaken on Friday thru Sunday, October 13th-15th!
Douglas Tait, hailing from Los Angeles, discovered his passion for acting and filmmaking during his grade schooll years, creating scary short films recorded on VHS tapes. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the industry's top directors in both film and television.
His filmography includes notable contributions to hit studio films such as Jon Favreau's "Zathura, J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek," "Land Of The Lost," the Blumhouse production "Unfriended: Dark Web”’ and as the Michael Myers Stunt Double in Halloween Kills. Tait's talent has also graced the small screen, where he has had recurring roles on TV series such as "Teen Wolf," "Grimm," "Star Trek: Picard," "The Girl In The Woods," "Legacies”, and performed the motion capture for the droid character “IG-12” on Season 3 of “The Mandalorian”.
Notable among his versatile performances are characters like Gruagach in the Hellboy reboot, the Werewolf in James Wan's "Annabelle Comes Home," Jason Voorhees in the climactic ending of "Freddy Vs. Jason," and even the iconic “Sasquatch” in the Jack Links Beef Jerky commercials.
Tait is excited about his directorial debut with the film "Angel Baby,” coming out this October, and looks forward to directing future projects.
Awaken is super-excited to have Doug Tait and we can’t wait to see you there! As an added bonus, Doug will be appearing in costume as Jason Voorhees for photo ops on Friday, October 13th from 5:00pm-6:30pm for a select few. He will don an actual costume from the movie “Freddy vs. Jason”. Tickets are limited for this exclusive, one-day only event!
Of course, Doug will be available all weekend out of costume for meet-and-greets as well. Come out to meet this exciting actor who has appeared in numerous movies and television show including Halloween Kills, Annabelle Comes Home, Hellboy, Star Trek, Mandalorian and more. And, of course, don’t forget that he is also the Jack Link’s Sasquatch! It’s going to be a big weekend, so get your tickets early.
Ducking Around Jeep Run a HUGE Success!
Awaken teamed up with Boss Cider, Jim’s Lost Shoe Tavern, The Wooden Nickel, Courthouse Pub & Grill, Onondaga Tavern and the town of Leslie for a super-fun Jeep themed event! Hundreds of people showed up for an amazing time in Leslie, and we hope to make this get-together even bigger next time.
Downtown Leslie was alive with Jeeps of every color and style all day and night! Jeep fans hung out, had some drinks, listened to music, won some awesome prizes and had a great time. Our first Jeep event was fantastic and we’re already planning another event for 2024!
Thank you to all of our Awaken and Jeep fans who came out, had fun and made our initial Jeep Run a huge success for everyone!

Awaken’s 2023 season schedule is here! We’ve got Behind-the Screams, two celebrity guest weekends and plenty of screams, scares and fun coming your way.
Saturday, September 23rd - Behind the Screams is back - One Night Only! We officially kick the season off Saturday, September 23rd with our one-of-a-kind peak behind the curtain of Awaken. See what makes our haunted attraction the thrillingly scary event that you love. If you love Awaken, this event is for you!
Join us for a less scary, instructional, behind the scenes tour where we will show you how the Awaken scare machine works. An exclusive look at Awaken with no actors where you're guided through Awakens horror movie quality sets by the creators of Awaken. Tickets $25! (Hurry, Limited Tickets Available)
September 29th - Now we’re rolling! The 29th will be our first Friday full attraction opening of the season! Come experience the new scares at Awaken for 2023! $25 Gen / $35 Fast Pass.
September 30th - Our Saturday nights are the best! Celebrate the last day of September at Awaken! Tickets still only $25 Gen / $35 Fast Pass!
October 6th-7th - Tony Moran, the original Michael Myers from the original Halloween will be visiting Awaken October 6th and 7th! The always outspoken, always honest, sometimes controversial actor will be making an appearance at Awaken for 2 nights only (details below). Always a crowd favorite, Awaken is thrilled for Tony’s visit and can’t wait to see you there! Our 3rd weekend of the season and the scares are just getting started!

October 13-14th-15th - Our 2023 Feature Horror Celebrity Guest Douglas Tait will be here all weekend! Come out, go through the haunt, enjoy a meet and greet, and get your merchandise signed! We can’t wait to see you at Awaken!

October 27th - The end of the season nears. Awaken’s final fearful Friday. $28 Gen / $38 Fast Pass

Michael Myers Returns to Awaken!
We are super excited to announce that the original Michael Myers from Halloween will be our first Awaken celebrity visiting this October! The always outspoken, always honest, sometimes controversial actor Tony Moran will be making his return appearance at Awaken for 2 nights only, Friday and Saturday, October 6th and 7th. Tony will be appearing @ Awaken Friday, October 6th and Saturday October 7th. Bring your Michael Myers masks and other Halloween memorabilia for Tony to sign*, take some fun photos, and venture through Awaken for an incredible Halloween experience.
Tony will be there to meet fans on both nights until the doors close. Keep in mind, you must purchase a ticket to Awaken to meet Tony.

Corporate and custom packages are available for parties of minimum 25 people up to max 60. We can customize a plan or party for any sized company or customer segment to meet your individual needs with advance notice. Private tents and/or catering are available on request ( additional charges may apply)
In order to accommodate your needs, we require that tickets for large groups and custom events be purchased at least one (2) week in advance.
An Exclusive Experience for You and Your Friends!
Enjoy a premier exclusive experience at Awaken with you and your friends and officemates as ONLY YOUR GROUP is allowed to book our party room per open night during the Halloween season and/or special off-season events open to the public. Groups must be between 25 and 60 guests (larger groups can also be accommodated by contacting us awakenhaunt@gmail.com
Your group will arrive at Awakens Party Room between 5pm and 7pm and our Awaken party room is available to you exclusively for that time. If setup is needed, early entry is available at 4pm. Have fun playing our virtual pinball / arcade game, with over 900 games or try out our 5-minute escape room, taking photo ops with friends, browsing out Creepcessions, checking out our exhibits and just hanging out. We provide a 100" movie projection screen and two video screens with your company logo or event name. We also have a Audio system more music streaming along with a mic for announcements. Inside the Party room you can bring any type of drinks and food and party with your friends or co-workers.
Finally, at 7pm the lights go down and your group gets first in line for Awaken’s highly rated haunt experience. Enter in smaller groups for your own unique experience, and get ready for some good times and terror. You’ll laugh, scream and cry with fun as your group ventures through our highly rated Awaken Haunted Attraction!
