Celebrate Valentine's Day with Awaken Saturday, February 11th!
Hello Awaken Fans!
Our exciting Valentine’s Day opening is just a little over two weeks away!
Please join us for one night only on February 11th for a blend of lost loves, tragic endings, and dark scary secrets! You don’t need a date for this Valentine event, but we strongly recommend that you don’t come alone. You and your group will be provided one flashlight as Awaken turns down the lights to pure black*.
Yes, you heard that right...one flashlight to travel into the depths of our horror-filled haunt. This means the corners will be darker, the shadows deeper and the fun and scares even scarier. Your imagination will run wild for this fun, exciting and terror filled Valentine’s Day event!
Tickets are available online or in person at our box office. Love will be in the air at Awaken and rumor has it that Cupid himself might be making an appearance!
*Technically, there will be a few areas with some background light, etc.
Did You Know?
Our Valentine’s Day event is your last chance to see this year’s completed haunt before our offseason (Feb-Sept). Once Valentine’s is over, our staff will get to work on adding, changing and improving Awaken before next year’s haunt season. So, if there’s a specific theme or room you loved from last October, this may be your last chance to visit it.
Dinner and a Scare in Leslie!
We’ve teamed with Leslie’s own Boss Cider and Main Street Bakery for a decadent and delicious date night for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy dinner and dessert in downtown Leslie before heading over to Awaken for an exciting scare. All for one amazing price!
Leslie’s own Boss Cider serves an amazing assortment of delicious ciders and tasty fare.
Dinner and a Scare will include a fantastic 4-course meal and includes:
First Course: Mixed greens with red onion, pepperoncini’s, black olives, parmesan cheese, croutons with a house made Italian dressing.
Second Course: Toasted baguette and covered in cherry tomatoes, basil and red onions. A dusting of fresh parmesan cheese and balsamic glazed drizzled over top.
Third Course: Choice of Blackened Chicken Breast or grilled shrimp skewer over fettuccine noodles with a house made alfredo sauce.
Fourth Course: Fresh made Cronut from Main St. Bakery paired with our special release of Chocolate Cherry Cider
Awaken Haunt will provide two general admission tickets, but if you purchase this package before Feb 3rd, we will upgrade you to Fast Passes.
***Times for dinner at Boss is between 1pm to 8pm
***Times for Awaken are 7pm to 11pm
Leslie’s own Main Street Bakery will be providing the dessert for this event, but you can stop in anytime to try their delicious selection of bakery treats.

New Entrance a Hit!
For years, Awaken guests began their journey through our haunt with a terrifying hotel stay. Until last year. That’s when our Awaken engineers transformed the initial experience into a horrifying alien nightmare. We’re happy to say that the feedback for this makeover was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re extremely grateful given the amount of work that was put in. As always, look for bigger and better things at Awaken next year!
Line Management
While we transformed our beginning sequence into a frightening alien horrorscape, we also adjusted a number of things behind the scenes. We won’t bore you with the details, but we vastly increased our line management efficiency throughout Awaken.
This meant that our lines moved faster than ever before… all night long! At the same time, we added time to our guests’ experience, still allowed groups to enjoy their own walk-thru (not be combined with other groups) and maintained separation between groups during and throughout the journey.
Don’t get us wrong. Line waits were still substantial on peak days during peak hours, but gone were the days of 3+ hour waits for our general admission. This made our guests happier and our workers happier. In fact, we’re already thinking up more ways to incorporate more line-speed improvements for next year.
Celebrity Guest
Awaken Haunt was honored to have David Howard Thornton aka Art the Clown visit us this past October season. David’s appearance coincided perfectly with the release of Terrorfier 2, and our fans were super excited to meet him. We received tons of positive feedback and we want to thank David again.
