2020 has been a hell-uva year.
Hello Awaken Fans,
So, will Awaken Have a 2020 Season?
The answer is……. we are planning to open.
Like a lot of businesses in 2020, we’re stuck waiting until the last possible minute to determine if we’re opening and having a season or not. Bottom line, nothing’s official, but we think we will have a 2020 season.
Lower Michigan businesses have been stuck in phase 4 since June and only time will tell if restrictions will be loosened before the Halloween season. The good news is that Michigan cases are down and deaths are way down. It sure looks like the worst is behind us. Hopefully, this continues in Michigan and throughout the country and world.
If Awaken opens in 2020, rest assured that we will have Covid protocols in place. We have plenty of space to accommodate our guests and keep them safe. Mask requirements, outside lines, spacing between guests, cleaning stations, limited occupancy, regular cleanings, best practices for actors and other procedures will be expected throughout the season. If and when we open, we are determined to do so safely.
Our tentative opening date is set for Friday, October 2nd.
That said, we’re going to take this week to week up until and through October if necessary. Watch for updates here as well as throughout our social media. So, stay healthy and take care of yourself and get ready to experience Awaken!
